Bus Tour to Denali State Park

Animal Shelter.

After the boat we spent four days touring Alaska by coach. It gave us an excellent idea of Alaska's immense size - and we only saw a minute fraction of the state. On the way to Alyeska we stopped at a delightful animal rehabilitation center and photographed various animals.

Alyeska.

We spent our first night in a hotel in Alyeska. We rode the hotel ski lift to the top for lunch and were fortunate to be entertained by a hang glider taking off. The next day we were taken to the Iditarod Center and were introduced to dogsled racing where we even went for a wild ride on a buggy pulled by a dog team.
